We have recently redesigned a site for adventure company Coasteering Wales, part of Anglesey Adventures.

The brief was to drag it firmly into 2011 - giving the site a much fresher, modern and an overall more enticing look and feel. The previous site worked fine, but it perhaps failed to stand out against the competition. There were also some issues with image galleries being difficult to create.

The new site now has a clear identity and wont be mistaken for just another outdoor adventure company - this looks professional, confident and full of adrenalin-filled promise. The whole site is built on our favorite CMS which allows the team at Coasteering Wales to add/edit/delete their own content with very little technical ability. And, of course, the gallery issue has been much improved - all that need to be done now is simply drop the images into a folder and the site creates the thumbnails and displays the images - simple. Galleries can even be password protected to allow only certain groups to see certain galleries.

For me, it was important that the front page began selling straight away. Immediately you're hit with great imagery and clear links to the four main areas of coasteering offered. Also, if you want to get in touch with Coasteering Wales, all you need is already there - Contact numbers or a quick message form - no need to go clicking around the site, making it easy for the customer to buy.

Naturally, the guys at Coasteering Wales were very happy with the result.
